M. West Evans

M. West Evans practices in the areas of criminal defense, commercial and civil litigation, family law, employment litigation and all appeals related to such areas. He is also part of the legal counsel team for Rome City Schools.

Mr. Evans is a Rome native, as he attended Rome High School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Berry College in 2011. He obtained his law degree from the Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law in 2014. He was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 2015, and has since been admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Georgia.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Evans worked as a judicial staff attorney with the judges of the Superior Court of Floyd County. Mr. Evans has been voted Best Overall Attorney by the Rome News-Tribune Reader's Choice Awards in 2021 and 2023.

Mr. Evans is an active member of the Rome Bar Association and and has served as President of the association.

West and his wife, Katie, and their son enjoy traveling and seeing the beautiful sights that the world has to offer.
